Chrissy Teigen and Alison Roman’s social media feud was all the rage last week. In case you missed it, Roman did an interview in which she criticized Chrissy’s approach to her culinary business, including her recent product launches, her Instagram profile and her website.
For example, Roman said that the way she had designed her culinary career was not something she “would aspire to too.” After Chrissy got wind of what Alison had to say, she responded by saying that everything she had heard was incredibly hurtful.
Later, Roman apologized in a long Instagram post in which she took 100% responsibility for what she said. Alison said it was not fair for her to use other people’s careers to contrast with hers. Chrissy Teigen Calls For The New York Times To Bring Back Alison Roman’s Column
She described her comments to Chrissy as “reckless” and “flippant”, and added that it was unfortunate that she chose to take another woman in the industry rather than trying to build her. At this point, however, it was too little too late.
The New York Times reportedly removed Alison’s column. Shortly after, Page Six reported, Chrissy actually said that she did not support the removal of the Roman column from the popular newspaper. You can check out one of Chrissy’s messages below:
