Chroma: Bloom and Blight started as a Kickstarter campaign but has now switched to Steam Early Access. Developer Clarity Games has announced that several new features will be released during development
The title is a free card game that will remain free for early access and after graduation. The game was developed for beginners of the card game genre and for veterans who want to discover something new.
All maps and game modes are available for free for everyone. Players can compete to be number one on the leaderboard or enjoy some crazy games with friends. Since the cards and game modes are free at launch, players don’t have to worry about buying new cards or an expensive gatcha system. Free To Play Card Came Chroma: Bloom And Blight Now Available On Steam Early Access
Details of the Steam Early Access version are now available on the Steam page. The title entered early access as the developer is seeking more feedback from card game fans and those interested in playing Chroma: Bloom and Blight. Since Clarity Games is a small studio, they want to seek help from the community to improve the game.
The game will be in early access until they have created around 300 cards with the illustration completed. The full version will contain even more maps and illustrations.
The current state of the game is fully playable. Steam players can supplement with a functional deck builder, but the selection of cards is limited. Most of the maps have only development illustrations, and the discovery of traditions has not yet been added.
